every morning i spend an hour at the big house before i head over to school. today, breakfast took extra long and every kid was either in the kitchen or his bed when i got there. i'll usually play with whoever's in the big room, but since no one was in there, i went to the next logical place - the baby room! i rocked lidia for almost an hour. it was awesome.

school this morning was good. i'm picking up more relevant spanish and the kids are respecting us more and getting some great work done.
this afternoon, i asked chuy if we could split the class up. we had pilar, chloe, ruben, and sergio for an hour, and then they went back down below and we took josue and irene for about half an hour. it was INCREDIBLE. it was such a huge change from every other day. josue works well with irene and ruben wasn't there, so those two weren't setting each other off like they sometimes can do. i was so thankful that it went well. hopefully this will be permenant after we get the okay from renie/conafe.

becky and i went to the movies this afternoon and then stopped at el poblano on the way back. they just finished a renovation - yesterday, tacos were 2 for 1! it was packed. i think with the redecoration their tacos got even better. i'm not sure how that's possible, but it happened :)
