such a fun day.
martin and i took thelma and jaime to the hospital for check ups. they had a great time...they really enjoyed being in a different place with different sights, sounds, and smells. the road from where we parked to the hospital was really bumpy, almost like cobblestones, and both of them were laughing so hard as they bounced along. it was hilarious.

i finally went to the bike shop and bought a new tire for sergio's bike. it's a foot pedal bike, so he's the only one who can use it, but becky used to ride it with someone in the basket on the back! teddy and i went for a walk with it, and it's a lot better for him. he can't ride jose's bike because his legs are way too short, but he can steer and be pushed really easily in this one. here's a picture of pilar trying to figure out what's going on!

i was organizing all of our school supplies this afternoon and found a huge, 5 foot long kite tucked away in a corner. it wasn't really that windy, but that thing flew. it was so fun. i brought the kids from down below up to take turns with the kite, and we spent the whole afternoon in the street, running back and forth and flying the kite, mexican style :)

  3. Hi Hil ~ looks like your writer's block has vanished. Loved the kite pictures as well as all the other ones you've posted. I just love your street pictures. They bring back such great memories. Love and best wishes from Paul and Gma in the rainy, cold, wet, dismal midwest.
