today was SO windy! oh my goodness. it was kind of hard to have school when the dirt was blowing in our faces and flowers, leaves, sticks, and trash were swirling around our feet. yikes. hopefully the boys' house will be done soon so we can move inside their old house! we did take advantage of the chaos, though, and had a lot of fun with the kite! we didn't even have to run with it so the kids in chairs got to fly it, too.
i walked to the store with jaime and we saw a couple kids who made their own kite out of a garbage bag and string. it was awesome and totally worked.
chuy went to ensenada today for something with conafe, so i taught alone. it was so funny (and comforting) to think about where we were the last time i taught alone, and how far we've come since then!
